Levels of Protection

The shield is constructed from a UHMWPE and Ceramic blend and is rated to NIJ Level III . This unofficial level covers the traditional NIJ Level III performance for 6 strikes of 7.62 x 51mm NATO Ball (US designation M80 Ball) and also the widely recognized threat from AK47 MSC 7.62 x 39mm round. 5.56 x 45 55gr M193. 5.56 x 45 62gr Federal Bonded (LE223T3) and 5.56 x 45 62gr MSC M855 and SS109.
