The two-man unit is normally seen as a more permanently occupied building that is large enough to accommodate CCTV recorders. movement and sound sensors etc when guards are required to monitor an area electronically as well as visually.

They can also be used at check points. as in this photo. when guards are required to screen people and vehicles entering and leaving a location where the building is again used to protect the guards as well as their equipment.
